Mobile blasting systems
MVS² mobile vacuum blast machine
The MVS² is a mobile vacuum blast machine for detail work: a 10 litre hopper, three brushes, and a gun that projects the abrasive and extracts it in the same movement. For larger surfaces and continuous work there are the closed circuit machines from 9 to 48 litres.
- Hopper of 10 litres, abrasive circulating in a closed circuit
- Three brushes: flat, internal corner and external corner
- Blasting and extraction hose of 5 metres
- No masking beforehand, no clean-up afterwards

The technique
Projecting and extracting in one movement
A brush around the nozzle seals against the surface. The gun extracts more air than leaves the nozzle, so everything you blast off travels inwards. The abrasive passes through a separator and returns to the hopper cleaned.
No masking beforehand
You do not have to cover the surroundings. That shortens the preparation, and colleagues keep working next to you.
The abrasive stays inside the machine
You sweep nothing up and you dispose of no contaminated abrasive. The difference with the heavier closed circuit machines is size: the MVS² is meant for local work, with a 5 metre hose.
Usable indoors as well
The installation passes through an ordinary doorway and works in an occupied room or one that stays in service.

The set
Everything you need, as one whole
The package is put together for the work itself, hoses and couplings included. There is nothing to source on the side.
Blasting and stripping unit
Mobile, with an integrated recovery system, a 10 litre hopper and a filter pressure regulator.
Brush gun and brushes
Trigger control, a boron carbide nozzle, and three brushes for a flat surface, an internal corner and an external corner.
Screw compressor and aftercooler
Up to 1,300 l/min, 15.5 kW and 76 dB(A), with an external aftercooler for condensate free compressed air.
Hoses and protection
Blasting and extraction hose of 5 m, air hose of 10 m with safety couplings, plus visual and hearing protection.
Applications
Where the MVS² is used
The MVS² is a micro blasting system. It is at its best where the area is small, or where the surroundings must stay clean.

Specifications
Every pressure, length and grain size of the MVS²
The complete installation was reviewed for safety and found EC compliant. On delivery you receive the declaration of conformity for the assembled system.
- Extraction is pneumatic, so no separate vacuum cleaner is needed
- The abrasive is separated from dust and dirt on the way back
- A test on a hidden spot fixes the parameters
- The compressor has a return line for the condensate

Other types and grain sizes are available on request. The fine grains are meant for soft substrates, the coarser ones for rust, paint and hard surfaces.
Consumables
Which abrasive circulates in the MVS²
Because the abrasive circulates in a closed circuit, how long the grain lasts matters. Ceramic beads are the hardest and the heaviest of the three. The fine grain sizes are meant for soft substrates, the coarser ones for rust, paint and hard surfaces.

Your installation keeps running
The brushes, the nozzle and the hoses wear under intensive use. The brush seals against the surface, so that is the part you replace most often.
