Blasting media

White aluminium oxide

Our aluminium oxide consists of sharp, angular and solid grains with a high degree of aggressiveness, hardness and exceptional purity. The abrasive is recyclable and suitable for cleaning and pre-treatment of all types of surfaces, both for dry and wet blasting (e.g. rust removal, matting, roughening, engraving).

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between white and brown aluminium oxide?

White aluminium oxide is 99.7% pure and very sharp, for cleaning and preparation. Brown aluminium oxide contains titanium, is tougher, offers an excellent price-quality ratio and is mainly used to roughen before a coating.

Is white aluminium oxide suitable for stainless steel?

Yes. White aluminium oxide is inert and contains almost no iron (0.02% Fe₂O₃), so stainless steel is not contaminated.
