Standard line
Blackfast blackens steel and cast iron at around 20 °C, without dimensional change. This standard 25 litre line is the entry level set-up, for manual blacking of parts up to 300 x 200 x 200 mm. The line consists of two parts.

You immerse the baskets yourself. If the volume grows, we look at a larger line.
No boiling bath and no complex extraction system needed.

In the standard line too, the parts go through the same four steps.
Free the surface of oil, grease, mill scale and rust.
After rinsing with water, lower the pH value of the surface.
One minute in the blacking fluid is enough for a uniform black surface.
Immerse in water displacing oil, which drives out the water and leaves a protective layer.

Consumables
The fluids are included with the line, and you reorder them from the same partner.
The process fluids, the blacking paste and the protective equipment are in stock. You order them from the same partner that supplies your line.
Assistance and service
You arrange maintenance, repairs and spare parts directly with Phibo. Our own technicians do the work.
We schedule the inspection of your blacking line and follow it up. The content is agreed with you.
Spare parts come from our own warehouse. Our technicians carry out the repair.
Your operators learn to set, monitor and adjust the baths, from commissioning onwards.
Send us the material of your parts, their dimensions and the number per day. If the standard 25 litre line fits, you will receive a proposal for it. If your parts are larger, we propose a larger line.
