The air-gumming technology

Air-gumming is a cost-effective alternative to chemical pickling, manual sanding & brushing and conventional sandblasting. There are a number of important differences between the air-gumming technology with the MCS² and the conventional sandblasting.

  • Minimal abrasive consumption and optimal distribution of particles
  • Limited compressed air consumption and compressed air pressure
  • More compressed air than abrasive

Maximal return, minimal operating cost

You opt for a technically and economically advantageous solution with the MCS². This is because the investment is quickly recovered thanks to the extremely low operating costs and high return (up to 10 m² per hour), whereby the quality, consistency and reproducibility of the end result cannot be matched by alternative processes. Moreover, with the same air-gumming system you can also use the 'wet air-gumming' option.

Blasting media

We supply you with all the related blasting media and personal protective equipment. We help you through this search. Most abrasives are immediately available from stock. Discover our Gommalite® and Stripalite®, the passe-partouts for air-gumming projects.

Blast tapes

Do you regularly mask blasting zones? Then you know very well that it is not easy to find the correct duct tape, given the abrasive environment. We have 3 types of masking tapes that offer a solution for every application. Do you wish to order these masking tapes? Send an email to sales@phibo.be.
